Bizarre free indie RPG

LeoWars: Remastered is a free indie top down RPG. Set in a strange world of aliens and monsters, the game features large amounts of irony and fourth wall breaking.

Baffling experience

LeoWars: Remastered is part of a larger series of games based around the mysterious Leo World. The games all feature a low quality visual style and odd plots, which can make them difficult to accurately judge. It may be an Undertale-style tongue in cheek homage to RPGs or it may just be a bad game. The game last for around 30 minutes or so, consisting nearly entirely of random battles which all play out in an identical fashion while an alien occasionally pops up to say that a monster is further ahead. The game's last boss states that LeoWars: Remastered is a bad game that no-one should play, but the lack of humour, character development or anything positive make this simply a true statement rather than a funny one. The graphics appear intentionally poor, the sound is mediocre and no challenge or difficulty exists.

Avoid

LeoWars: Remastered is a confusingly bad game. The developers seem aware of this fact, may have even intended it to be, but the reasoning behind it is not clear. Even a shallow attempt at humour would have shown the original design idea for the game, but there is none.
